Greetings Friends, Community Members, & Business Associates,
Habibatique Inc,. will NOT be presenting Kwanzaa Festival 2011
at Evergreen Valley College on December 9th and 10th, 2011,
this year.
Unfortunately, due to budget cuts within our county and state, a
portion of the funding that we anticipated, did not happen and
because of this, we are unable to present the festival to the
community.
We humbly ask the community for your support as we re-group,
and build relationships with additional sponsors from the
business community. With your continued support, we will
ensure the festival has a solid financial foundation, and also
continue to meet our mission of being committed to increasing
intercultural awareness within our community, by practicing
unity, collective works, and cooperative economics.
The Kwanzaa committee is committed to making this Festival
one of the premier festivals for Santa Clara County showcasing
the African American Heritage, and unity in the community. We
will have a Kwanzaa Festival 2012.
The committee, would like to Thank the many volunteers,
vendors and donors, for who's support we are grateful. We wish
you a Happy Kwanzaa and a Prosperous New Year.
